Worcestershire Gymnastic Academy to move to new and improved facility in Redditch.

It’s been a long time coming but it’s official...we are moving! The papers have been signed and the building will shortly commence.

Whilst we love the gym being on the farm, we have well and truly outgrown the space that we have which is why we have made the difficult decision to move. The new premises will be a much larger, purpose built centre which will hopefully provide a fantastic environment for both children & adults to learn gymnastics.

The new gym will allow us to have all of the equipment that we currently have plus an Olympic sized floor, Vaults with both pit and hard landing, tumble track, D-pit, Rings, P-Bars and A-Bars over the pit. We also hope to have an onsite fitness gym, dance studio & bank seating so we can host our own competitions. We might not be able to have all of this straight away...these additional bits may take a bit of time.

So what happens next?

The build will begin shortly and we anticipate this to take between 3-5 months. There are many factors that will affect this such as weather, labour, materials and resources so it is impossible to give a specific date right now but keep an eye on this space the noticeboard in the gym and we will keep you posted.
